🚶♂️ On foot. The center of Alghero is not very large, so you can comfortably walk around it. If instead you intend to move to the surrounding areas to visit other places such as the beaches, the nuragic village of Palmavera, the Neptune’s Caves, the Porto Conte Park, then a car is necessary.
🚌 Public transport. There are bus connections every hour between the airport and the center of Alghero. There is an urban network that connects the main central areas of the city. With the bus you can comfortably reach Fertilia if you want to move outside the center. Other connections to Sassari, Porto Torres.
